Figuring out Blogging and other technical things

So I just want to say that after 4 days of here and there trying to put music on my blog, I finally succeeded in putting music on my blog. YEAH....

I have spent the last 2 days at work, working with a new version of autocad. While I struggled with the little changes, I learned a really good lesson today. Trust in yourself no matter waht you do always believe in yourself and that you can do whatever it is that you put your mind too.

I was given the advice the other day, for every prayer that is said make sure that we say thank you for nine things. I am going to give that a chance.

Rickshaw cabs in New York City

OK, so I took my mom to see Wicked for her birthday and we decided to drive in to the city. I don't usually drive in the city, I am usually lucky enough that others drive. This time however I had to drive so I mapped out my directions to the theater, just to make sure that I would have a good idea as to where I needed to go, so with my mom reading the directions once we got into the city and let me just tell you that the directions I printed sent me in the complete opposite direction of where I needed to go.

But that is not my complaint about driving in the city, my complaint is the rickshaw cabs that have taken over the city. I just have to say it is hard enough to try and avoid not only the real cabs in NY and the pedestrians but to now have to avoid the rickshaw cabs as well is just insane.
It made driving in New York City even more crazy that it had been in the past, as well as making it just a little more stressful.

So I am saying hats off to my friends who are willing to drive in New York City.
Thanks All

My So Called Life

So I was a junior in high school, when this tv show came out called My So Called Life. I recently watched some of the episodes (thanks to Netflix). As I watched it these past couple of days, I can't help but think back to when I was in high school and the friendships that I made. I could find myself relating to the lead character and some of the problems that she went through. As I watch this show and am reminded about the times of high school, I can only say one thing....Thank Goodness that I am no longer in high school and haveing to deal with the stupidness that comes when we are fifteen and think that the whole world is against you.

Unfortunatly, I am not really friends with the people that I was friends with in high school, and as sorry as I am that I am not friends with those people anymore, I am extremely grateful for the friends that I do have today. They are best friends a girl could want. They are there to celebrate the good times, and to pick you up and dust you off when you fall from the bad. They make you laugh till you cry. Rilee, Shandis, Meagan, Joanne, and Jill thanks for being who you are and being such great friends to me.
