Christmas in Walt Disney World

I thought that I would share with you some of my favorite moments of my trip to Disney World. For those of you who don't know I am a huge and when I say huge I mean huge disney fan.
My mom and I left on Sunday at 5:30 a.m. to catch a 7:15 flight. As we started to take off it started to snow in Jersey, the plane ride was more than a little turbulent, so much so that as we landed the random stranger sitting next to me puked (yeah gross I know). When we landed in Orlando we found out that there was a tornado watch. After such an interesting start Monday thru Thursday turned out to be Sunny and decently warm. It wasn't swimsuit weather but it wasn't freezing cold exactly.

So here are some of my favorite pictures.

Figuring out Blogging and other technical things

So I just want to say that after 4 days of here and there trying to put music on my blog, I finally succeeded in putting music on my blog. YEAH....

I have spent the last 2 days at work, working with a new version of autocad. While I struggled with the little changes, I learned a really good lesson today. Trust in yourself no matter waht you do always believe in yourself and that you can do whatever it is that you put your mind too.

I was given the advice the other day, for every prayer that is said make sure that we say thank you for nine things. I am going to give that a chance.

Rickshaw cabs in New York City

OK, so I took my mom to see Wicked for her birthday and we decided to drive in to the city. I don't usually drive in the city, I am usually lucky enough that others drive. This time however I had to drive so I mapped out my directions to the theater, just to make sure that I would have a good idea as to where I needed to go, so with my mom reading the directions once we got into the city and let me just tell you that the directions I printed sent me in the complete opposite direction of where I needed to go.

But that is not my complaint about driving in the city, my complaint is the rickshaw cabs that have taken over the city. I just have to say it is hard enough to try and avoid not only the real cabs in NY and the pedestrians but to now have to avoid the rickshaw cabs as well is just insane.
It made driving in New York City even more crazy that it had been in the past, as well as making it just a little more stressful.

So I am saying hats off to my friends who are willing to drive in New York City.
Thanks All

My So Called Life

So I was a junior in high school, when this tv show came out called My So Called Life. I recently watched some of the episodes (thanks to Netflix). As I watched it these past couple of days, I can't help but think back to when I was in high school and the friendships that I made. I could find myself relating to the lead character and some of the problems that she went through. As I watch this show and am reminded about the times of high school, I can only say one thing....Thank Goodness that I am no longer in high school and haveing to deal with the stupidness that comes when we are fifteen and think that the whole world is against you.

Unfortunatly, I am not really friends with the people that I was friends with in high school, and as sorry as I am that I am not friends with those people anymore, I am extremely grateful for the friends that I do have today. They are best friends a girl could want. They are there to celebrate the good times, and to pick you up and dust you off when you fall from the bad. They make you laugh till you cry. Rilee, Shandis, Meagan, Joanne, and Jill thanks for being who you are and being such great friends to me.

Country Music

Ok so I am a pretty big fan of country music, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, and Reba just to name a few that I enjoy listening to. People say that country songs are always about my wife left me, my dog died, my husband cheated, or about pickup trucks and to a point that is true, but none the less I truly enjoyed listening to it. And then.... I got my heart broke and now I am having the hardest time listening to some of my favorite songs and artists. I know that it will take time to get over getting my heart broken, but this is one more thing that is pissing me off, this is just one more thing that I enjoy that I have to fight to get back.

Cheats and Liars

Ok so I want to know what the heck is the point of lying. There is not a single person who benefits from the actual lie. I never thought that the person who has spent the last seven months lying to me would ever lie to me. This person knows that I have severe trust issues when it comes to letting people get close to me and letting them in. I read this quote the other day that went like this "I believe that a complete stranger can change your life in a matter of hours" I disagree with that statement to a degree I believe that a complete stranger can change your life in a matter of minutes not hours. With one simple statement someone can either destroy your way of thinking or they can make improve your way of thinking.

Can anyone tell me why people cheat on the people that they have committed themselves to another. If your unhappy then do whatever it takes to fix it, but do not hurt the other people in your life. My dad cheated on my mom, my best friend cheated on his girlfriend/wife what ever she is and I don't really know what she is cause well I know don't believe anything that he has ever told me.

The hardest thing for me is that I really didn't loose the person that I was led to believe that I would get to spend the rest of my life with, but one of my best friends and for what a stupid lies that never had to happen in the first place.

It is funny to me that women think that all men are alike and men think that women are all alike. I am trying really hard not to hate the entire male species, its really hard at this particular moment. I do however, know that through my heavenly father I will be able to learn from this and move on.

Thoughts

Somone once told me that you need to let others in, so that you grow. I have a really hard time letting people get all that close to me. I have been disappointed in the past and hate the feeling of being let down or sad. I know that no one really likes the feeling but its happened so much that i just kind of shutdown and don't let anyone in. In order to let others in you have to give over control.

This week the one person that I thought would never hurt me, halfway broke my heart. I say halfway cause I still love him and don't really know what happened. I don't know how to move past this feeling of complete loss. The loss of the future that we were supposed to have and the loss of friendship that we had. It is my hope that with all that we have been through we will one day find our way back to the friendship that we once had.

If anyone has any ideas to help a girl get over a broken heart please let me know.

Blogging

So I was sitting in my living room the other day talking to RiLee about blogging. RiLee asked me why I didn't blog more than i do. I said that I don't really have anything to blog about. I also said that most of the people I know who blog are people who have children are who have things to say in blogs. I have to some degree changed my mind on this subject. There are many things people have to say that are of interest. So I just need to develop a better attitude about blogging.

To all those country music fans out there, I am going to recommend that you should all go to a Kenny Chesney concert once in your lives. My friend Ellie and I drove from New Jersey to Philly to see him and it was way worth the drive. There were five different acts at the concert and it only got better as the day went on.

1st up is was Gary Allen, I have decided that I like him better as a Cd artist than a concert artist. The sound wasn't great and the fact that he was drinking Jack Daniels whiskey straight out of the bottle in the 90 degree heat just turned your attention away from the music.

2Nd up was Leann Rimes and while I thought she was an okay singer, I was very surprised how much I enjoyed her concert.

3rd up is Sammy Hagar, I have to say that the only thing I knew about Sammy Hagar was that he was once the lead singer of Van Halen, and that is it. I have to say that after listening to Sammy Hagar sing, I can pass on learning more about him.

Up next was Keith Urban, and this was his 1st concert since he became a dad, and if he is not getting much sleep you couldn't tell. For me his songs are hit and miss. I again was thoroughly surprised at how much I enjoyed his concert. He has a great concert personality.

What can I say, this was one of the best concerts that I have been to. Kenny Chesney started out with a shirt that was light blue and by the time he was done it was entire different color from all the sweat. It is my belief that his main goal is to make sure that the crowd is having a good time and both times that I have seen him that has be achieved.
